General Conditions 

Below are some important conditions that only apply to sales with consumers.

Definition of consumer: a natural person who acts for purposes alien to his trade, business, craft or profession

1. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you received the goods. You must notify 4K nv at the following e-mail address: sales@4k.be.

You must return the goods at your own expense. 14 days after receipt of the goods 4k nv will refund the purchase price. 

Please note that as a consumer you may not use the goods. You may, however, inspect and test the goods insofar as this is necessary to determine the nature and characteristics of the functioning of the goods. If it turns out that you have already used the goods, you may have to pay compensation for the loss of value resulting from this.

Below you will find a model form that you can use to submit your request for revocation:

2. Privacy Policy

4K nv complies with the "Law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data", as amended by the Law of 11 December 1998, as well as with the anti-spam provisions of Book XII of the Economic Code on the "law of the electronic economy".

With this Privacy Policy, 4K nv complies with the European Regulation2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data, also referred to as the GDPR.

Use of Your Data
We use your data (which we obtain from you online or in person), among other things, to manage your registration as a user and the purchase of products or services, to respond to your questions and, if you wish, to send you our personalised communications.
This data is necessary for the performance of the agreement.

What data is held and processed?
In the context of your interaction with 4K nv, the following personal data may be recorded and processed:

• Data to identify you, such as name, address, telephone number(s), date of birth,
• E-mail address, IP address, ..
• Payment data: data that are necessary to process your payment when you make a purchase

Purposes of processing personal data
Your personal data is collected and processed exclusively for the following purposes:

1. for our business operations;
2. for the processing of your purchases
3. for processing exchanged products or returns
4. for conducting marketing campaigns (by post, telephone or electronic means, such as e-mail or SMS with respect to offers and promotions that may interest you)
5. to offer you the possibility to accept offers and participate in competitions;
6. to offer you the possibility to participate in customer surveys;
7. to optimise the website;
8. to improve our products and services; 9. to deal with queries or complaints.

Storage period
4K nv will retain your personal data for no longer than 10 years in order to realise the purposes for which your data is collected.

• As part of the execution of our agreements, we apply a retention period of 10 years after termination of the agreement. 
• As part of the processing of your contact details outside of the execution of agreements, we apply a retention period of 12 months

With whom are these data shared?
Your data will not be provided to third parties unless this is strictly necessary for the execution of the agreement, such as transporters and payment partners.

Rights regarding personal data

Right of access and inspection
You have the right to inspect your personal data at any time, free of charge, as well as the use that 4K nv makes of your personal data.

Right of rectification, deletion and restriction
You are free to communicate or not your personal data to 4k nv. In addition you have the right to ask 4k nv to improve, complete or remove your personal data.

You do know that if you refuse to communicate or request to remove personal data, certain services and products will not be available.

You may also ask to limit the processing of your personal data.

Right of objection
You have the right to oppose the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons. In addition, you always have the right to oppose the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes. You do not have to give any specific reasons for doing so.

Right to free data transfer
You can ask at any time to receive a copy of the personal data processed by 4k nv.

Right of withdrawal of consent
If you have given permission for your personal data to be processed, you also have the right to withdraw that permission at any time.

Right to lodge a complaint

3. Warranty 

As a private person, you have a warranty period of 2 years. If the product becomes defective within 6 months of delivery, it is assumed that the product has been defective since delivery. In that case we will repair or replace the product free of charge, unless we can prove otherwise. If you approach us with a defective product from the 7th month onwards, as a private individual you will have to prove that the defect already existed at the time of delivery.

The Warranty does not apply in the following cases:

• Minor deviations from the specified quality that do not affect the value or proper functioning of the unit
• Damage caused by incorrect set-up or installation
• Repairs or modifications carried out by unauthorised third parties
• Defects caused by non-original accessories or parts
